1. Introduction

Welcome to TriSplitCalc. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of personal information collected, recorded, and utilized by our online software application.

2. Information We Collect & Host

TriSplitCalc is designed as a secure, client-side application. We do not host, store, or transmit your physical athletic metrics, transition times, or target split calculations to any external servers. All data inputted into our calculator is processed directly in your device's browser memory or encoded strictly within the URL hash parameters to facilitate personal bookmarking.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Cookies

We monetize our free utility using third-party advertisements, primarily through the Google AdSense platform. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your visit to this and other websites on the internet.

Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site and may use their own cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to measure the effectiveness of those ads and personalize the content you see. We do not control the cookies set by these third parties.

Our cookie banner controls whether advertising cookies and personalized advertising are enabled. Choosing “Reject all” signals Google Consent Mode to withhold advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization, so you will see only non-personalized ads. Choosing “Accept all” grants those signals along with analytics. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s storage in your browser, which makes the banner appear again. Where required, Google privacy messages may additionally present GDPR consent controls and US state privacy opt-out controls.

You can review how Google uses information from sites and apps that use Google services at Google's partner sites policy. You can manage personalized advertising preferences through Google Ad Settings or opt out of some third-party vendors' personalized advertising cookies at aboutads.info.

4. Log Files & Analytics

We use analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve the site. Google Analytics is optional and loads only after you accept Google Analytics in our site banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded by the site banner.

Ahrefs Web Analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic and SEO performance, such as page views, referrers, browser/device information, and approximate location. We load Ahrefs Web Analytics by default because Ahrefs describes this service as cookie-free, not based on persistent identifiers, and not collecting or storing personal or identifiable data by default. You can read more in Ahrefs' Web Analytics documentation.

5. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

We fully respect your data protection rights. Under applicable US state privacy laws and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain uses of personal information. For Google AdSense, Google privacy messages provide GDPR and US state privacy controls where required. If you utilize third-party services linked on our site, please consult their respective privacy policies for details regarding their data tracking.

6. Consent

Essential browser storage runs the calculators and remembers the choice you made in our cookie banner. That choice covers both analytics and advertising: Google Analytics loads only after you accept, and advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization are withheld through Google Consent Mode unless you accept. Declining does not remove ads — it means the ads you see are non-personalized. Where required, Google privacy messages may present additional controls.
